Unfinished block 12.5  x 16.5

Materials:
   Five 2.5 x 11 inch  strips
   12.5 x 16.5 background fabric
    Assorted pieces of fabric for spool, wheel and enhancements
    Fusible web of your choice

Sew your 2.5 x 11 strips together and  press.  Using the machine and spool templates, follow the instructions for the fusible web you are using in drawing your shapes.
 
NOTE : I have already reversed the sewing machine template to use on the fusible webbing. (the machine should face to the left when finished)

Cut out the drawn shapes, Place your sewing machine and spool on the background fabric. Bond to the background per your fusible web instructions.

Sew the machine and spool to the background fabric using your preferred applique technique.

Feel free to add any little extras  - pincushion, tape measure, scissors, etc.
